The 2022 Mutton Busting event will take place on August 6 and 11! Below is more information.
-Registration costs $10
-Ages 4-7
-70 lbs and below
-Must wear western/rodeo attire to compete
-Registration begins May 31 at the Sikeston Rodeo Ticket Office at 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Registration will continue every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM until August 5
-Registration can be made by appointment by calling the ticket office.
-Safety equipment is provided by the Jaycees
-Long Go (first round) held on August 6 following the Sikeston Jaycee Rodeo Parade (approx. 1:00 PM) at the Sikeston Depot Museum
-Short Go (championship round) held during the Thursday night Rodeo performance in the historic Art Saunders Arena at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo
